He was predeceased by: his parents, John Abfalter and Charlotte Abfalter (Wicks); his grandchildren, Chris Bebow and Ashley Chambers; his son-in-law Alan Chambers; and his brothers, Merle, Roger and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Abfalter; his daughter Michelle Chambers; his stepchildren, Rose Combs (James), Sharon Stephens (Jeffrey), Jane Griffon (Monte) and Steven Bebow (Carol); and his sister Mary Allen.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Assembly of God Church (3006 W Jolly Rd, Lansing, MI 48911).
