He was predeceased by: his parents, John Phillips and Odelia Phillips Sr. (Luder); his wife Susan; his son John Phillips III; his grandson Dakota Phillips; and his brother Michael Phillips.
He is survived by: his son Todd Phillips (Melissa); his granddaughter Savannah Phillips; his sister-in-law Margo Phillips; his nephews, Aiden and Ian Phillips; and his friend Matt Fisher.
