With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jose L Vanegas of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jose may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jose touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Vanegas Sr. and Dora Patino; his wife Wanda Vanegas (Arnett); and his stepdaughter Tammy Cole. He is survived by: his children, Ann Casper (Kevin) and Juan Vanegas (Heath); his granddaughter Grace Casper; and his nephew David Arnett Sr..
