He is survived by: his wife Susan Jean Smith (Schultz); his sons, Christopher Smith (Marisol), Matthew Ashley (Lisa) and Michael Ashley (Renae); his grandchildren, Braden, Ava Smith, Allison, Alexa, Lauren and Luke Ashley; his siblings, Bernadette Droste, Charles Smith (Debbie) and Elizabeth Goodman (Steve); his sister-in-law Joan Schneider (Butch); his brother Mark; his brother-in-law Paul Droste; and his niece Angela Droste. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
