She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Hickerson and Helen Hickerson (Robinson); her husband Ervin Gladstone, Jr.; her sister Shirley Mae Hickerson; and her stepmother Maxine Hickerson (Chester).

She is survived by : her son David Gladstone (Jeanette); her grandchildren, Christopher Gladstone (Michelle), Mia, Hunter, Finn, Darren Gladstone (Emily), Eloise and Evelyn; her son Tony Gladstone (Koi); her grandchildren, Nick Gladstone (Ashley), Haylee, Lucas, Nathan, Kaitlin Mata (Rico), Annallyce, Rico, Jr., Samantha Cech (Anthony), Savannah and Brenden; her children, Duane Gladstone and Michelle Gladstone; and her brother Robert Hickerson (Dora).

Those who wish may donate, in memory of Joyce, to the Alzheimer's Association.
