It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Oja (Lansing, Michigan), born in Calumet, Michigan, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Stephens and Mayme A. Stephens (Estenberg); her sister Elaine Schreiber; and her grandson Andrew Hess. She is survived by: her husband George; her daughter Georgie Hess (Larry); her granddaughters, Rebekah McKee (Matthew), Kathleen Reddy (Rajiv) and Hannah Dietrich (Nickolas); her great grandchildren, Benjamin McKee, Nikhil Reddy, Meena Reddy, Molly McKee, Maggie McKee, Zara Reddy and Nathaniel Dietrich; and her sibling's children, Sue Arko and Steve Schreiber. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice or to the Michigan Tech Development Fund #4583 in Joyce's memory.
