She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Simmons and Florence Simmons (O'Kelly); her husband James J. Wood; and her brothers, Dan and Michael Simmons.
She is survived by: her son Steven Wood (Monica); her brother John Simmons; her nieces, Elizabeth Ezzo and Rebecca Levine (David); her sister-in-law Pauline Simmons; her nephew-in-law Jon Ezzo; her extended family, Jim Zister and Tim Malatinsky (Kris); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Elena, Jon Carmen, Danny Ezzo, Zoe, Riley, Lilly Mae and Jonah Levine.
