He is survived by: his son Mark Alan Gessner (Lisa Marie); his wife Vonda Mae Gessner (Quimby); his son Scott Gessner; his grandchildren, Hannah Nicole Gessner and Noah Jonathan Gessner; his great grandchild Leni Rae Bowler; and his sister Linda Cecil (Gessner).
