She is survived by : her children, Lenore, Derrick, Tamara, Aysha Forté, Erica and Arrit Ball; her grandchildren, Diamond Forté, Ryan Jr., Tamia Williams, Jamarvion Forté, JaLaiyah Reed, Cam'Ryn, Jameelah Ball and JaVari Smith; her siblings, LaLesha Forté and Alvin Forté; her nieces and nephews, Geanine Atkins and Edward Forté; her sister-in-law Phyllis Forté; and her close friend Anthony Owens. She is also survived by many uncles and cousins.
