He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Parkinson and Vivian Parkinson (Ebright); and his brothers, Charles Parkinson and Ronald Parkinson (Dee). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Bannon-Parkinson; his children, Vicky Freeman (Dion), Thomas Parkinson and Rebecca Rue (Matthew); his grandchildren, Sydney, Derek, Victor, Alexie, Reece, Connor, Evan, Madison and Carson; his siblings, George Parkinson (Marilyn) and Joan Allen; and his sister-in-law Verna Parkinson. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Vivian (Ebright) Parkinson, as well as his brothers, Charles Parkinson and Ronald (Dee) Parkinson.
