As we bid adieu to Lucetta's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lucetta has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemmens Halfmann and Anna Halfmann. She is survived by: her sister Theresa Housler; her husband Jack H. Mayhew; her brother Keith Halfmann; and her daughter Jamie L. Mayhew (Joe Feliciano). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Gerard Catholic Church (4437 W Willow Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause she dearly loved (please find link below).
