He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Leal and Irene Leal (Balli); and his siblings, Manuel, Jose, Carlos, Ramon and Olga Montemayor.
He is survived by: his wife Maria "Alicia" Leal; his sons, Marcos Leal Jr. (Mary), Danny Leal (Tracy) and David Leal (Katie); his grandchildren, Marcos A. Leal, Jayden Leal, Sierra Leal, Delaney Leal, Shyona Royston, Haven Leal, Cali David, Avery David, Dalas Leal, Ariez Leal, Uriah Leal, Raymond Loftis, Jillian Loftis and Meadow Loftis; his great grandchildren, Mavis, Zyona, Keomi, Eleanor and Jessa; and his siblings, Rene Leal and Rachel Cortez (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
