With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marian Elizabeth Zeis (Lansing, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gelow and Marian Gelow; her sister Mary Johnson; her granddaughters, Vanessa, Ginger and Erika Hicks; and her former husband Robert D. Zeis.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Zeis (Judy Tegreeny) and Theresa Thomas; her grandson Levi G. Thomas; and her close friend Julia Freije.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel (325 W Washtenaw St, Lansing, MI 48933). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Ele's Place.
