He was predeceased by: his stepmother Luella Hershey; and his brother David Hershey. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Hershey and John Hershey; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Rutledge (Michael), Liz Canfield (Chad), Bob Sackrider (Cali), Kate Hershey (Jamie Winquist) and Mark Hershey (Emily Geanacopolus).
