He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kressler and Evelyn Kressler. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Jeffrey Oade and Johanna Germain (Randy); his grandchildren, Blythe, Jayden, Mitchell and Collin; his great grandchild Shea; and his brothers, Jeffrey Kressler (Lyn) and David Kressler (Ruth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (218 W Ottawa St, Lansing, MI 48933). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church (https://stpaulslansing.org) in memory of Peter Kressler.

“Pete was a wonderful guy with a dry sense of humor. He was my first football coach. I was elected captain of his first football team at Holt. Later, I enjoyed he and Anne socially a few times. We even skied together at Big Sky, Montana and had a crazy but fun time. I will miss him a lot. He was such a fine man and excellent teacher and mentor.”
