We are sad to announce that, on February 10, 2026, at the age of 96, Phillip Henry Dunnebacke of Lansing, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Phillip departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Phillip may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Phillip leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dunnebacke and Anna Dunnebacke (Brieger); and his siblings, Leo (Rosemary), Frederick Dunnebacke (Beryl), Mildred Shaver (William), Mary Louise and Ruth Schraw (George).
He is survived by: his children, Carole Bolthouse and Joseph Dunnebacke. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary Cathedral in memory of Phil.
