She was predeceased by: her parents, Stan Apley and Lillian Apley; and her brother Scott. She is survived by: her husband William C. Kirby; her children, Florence Angela Marie Thomas, John Lawrence Kirby II and Ronnie Leighton Kirby; and her siblings, Anna Sprain and Joel Apley.
