Ellen Wheeler wrote a sympathy message

“I am so saddened to find out Rick has passed. He has been helping us for at least 8 years to serve the homeless in Lansing, MI. Rick was always close by to lend a hand to anyone in need and when I called him to come and help me set up tables at Reutter Park luncheons, he was always there and was early. Rick spoke lovingly of his family in Chicago and always enjoyed his trips back home. I’m comforted to know he now is with his mother once again. Ellen Wheeler, Cardboard Prophets”
