He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Marin and Refugia Marin; his wife Shannon J. Marin; and his siblings, Pete, Jose "Joe", Valentine, Macy and Louisa.

He is survived by: his son Alfonso "Ponch" Marin (Amy); and his siblings, Tony, Alfonso and Celia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans in memory of Ricardo.
