Richard Alan Makarewicz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Alan Makarewicz of Lansing, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard Alan leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane and Joseph Makarewicz. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Makarewicz; his children, Crystal and Jason Makarewicz; and his siblings, Steven Makarewicz (Donnalisa), Joseph Makarewicz (Marriann) and Rosemarie Rakowsk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vickers Leslie Funeral Home (109 Church St, Leslie, MI 49251). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
