We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2025, at the age of 89, Richard Edward Garmyn in Lansing, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Garmyn; his parents, Victor Garmyn and Pauline Garmyn; his son Craig Garmyn; and his daughter-in-law Gretchen Garmyn.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Garmyn, Cathy Garmyn, Thomas Garmyn (Carrie), Keith Garmyn (Jane) and Mo Parisian (Toby); his grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Justin, Carly, Bradley, Evan and Blake; and his great grandchildren, Bennett, Murphy, Calvin, Aiden and Ryann.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes-Lansing Chapel (520 E Mt Hope Ave, Lansing, MI 48910). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (102 W Randolph St, Lansing, MI 48906). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2520 W Willow Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917).
