He was predeceased by: his parents, William Porter and Lucile Porter (Hummel). He is survived by: his children, Scott Porter (Angela Fabus) of LaGrange and Jodi Porter of Evergreen, Colorado; his grandchildren, Audra, Lila, Phineas and Lucile; his brothers, William Porter III (Marilyn) and James Porter (Terry Sanderson); and his nephew Jimmy Porter (Suzie).
