He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Cari Jones; and his great grandchild Mark Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Singer; his children, Mark Singer (Pauline) and Christine Simpson (Tim); his granddaughters, Brandy, Carla and Teri; his great grandchildren, Kyler, Lily, Laney, Brian, Cari and Teigan; and his great great grandchild Layne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes-Lansing Chapel (520 E Mt Hope Ave, Lansing, MI 48910). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel (520 E Mt Hope Ave, Lansing, MI 48910).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Lansing in memory of Richard.
