She was predeceased by: her husband Jack W. Roden; her parents, Fred Larson and Margaret Larson (Dietz); and her sister Marian Sorrell. She is survived by: her children, William Roden, Nancy Mooney (late Dennis Mooney), Mary Hamilton (late Michael Hamilton), Barbara Roden and Patricia Nownes (Roger); and her grandchildren, Allison Mayer (Robby), J. R. Mooney (Kait) of Natalie Mooney, J. J, Grogis and Bobby Grogis. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (955 Alton Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at the Evergreen Cemetery (2600 E Mt Hope Ave, Lansing, MI 48910).
