Roy Pitts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Pitts of Lansing, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pitts and Izorah Pitts (Mason); his children, Michael Bergey, Phillip Bergey and Brenda Edwards (Kelly); his son-in-law Kerm Howard; his brother Don Pitts; and his stepsister Pauline.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Pitts; and his children, Randy Pitts (Brenda), Valerie Bergey, Vickie Knoblauch, Gary Pitts and Jessica Bucholtz (Pete). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society in Roy's name.
