Sam Putmon Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sam Putmon of Lansing, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sam Putmon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Early Putmon and Bessie Putmon (Furline); his siblings, Lena, Betty, Christine, Clyde, Early Jr., Jerry and James; and his grandson Randy Putmon Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Sally Putmon; his sons, Randolph Putmon (Carol), Billy Jack Putmon (Tammy Viavada), Ronald Putmon, Raymond Putmon (Kelli) and Sam Putmon Jr. (Catherine); and his pet Callie. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Lansing Chapel (101 W Jolly Rd, Lansing, MI 48910). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
