It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay (Powell) Hooper-Woods (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Powell and Nessie Powell; her siblings, Eddie, Joyce and Brenda; her former husband Rick Hooper; and her son Troy Hooper.

She is survived by: her sister Carolyn; her sons, Jerry Hooper (Traci) and Adem Hooper (Angel); her grandchildren, Rachel Catton (John), Corey Hooper (Brittney) and Keith Donley; and her great-grandkids, Grace, LeeAnn, Savanah and Hope. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Eaton Community Palliative Care at 2675 S. Cochran Rd, Charlotte, MI 48813.
