She was predeceased by: her parents, Lou Newhouse and Peg Newhouse; and her grandson Billy Hundt. She is survived by: her husband Bill Blackburn; and her children, Theresa (Dan Hundt), Chris (Peggy Blackburn), Michelle (Jeff Hundt), James (Naomi Blackburn) and Carol (Rob Smith).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sarah's memory can be made to St. Therese Parish food bank or her grandson Billy's research foundation at the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute.
