Susan Jean Tormala Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Jean Tormala (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilkinson and Ann Wilkinson (McGinn); her son-in-law Pete Langenfeld; her stepson Eric Tormala; and her brother-in-law Victor Warner.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Tormala; her daughters, Michelle Chenault (Jeff) of Grand Ledge, MI and Tracee Langenfeld of Grand Ledge, MI; her stepchildren, Leanne Besson (Michael) of Milwaukee, WI and Christopher Tormala (Audra) of Chassel, MI; her grandchildren, Nathan Langenfeld, Griffin Langenfeld, Ethan Chenault, Lucas Chenault, Zoe Langenfeld, Caleb Chenault, Emily Besson, Joshua Besson (Jess), Elijah Tormala (Morgan), Coryn Tormala, Seth Besson, Caleb Besson and Luke Tormala; her sister Nancy Warner; and her nephews, Mark Walcott and Mike Walcott.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made in Susan's name to the Greaterlansingcarefoundation.org who provide services for caregivers of loved ones with dementia.
