He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlo Barnard and Elaine Barnard; his wife Marguerite "Geet" Barnard (Graham); his uncle Gordon Barnard; and his brothers, Lance Barnard and Jimmy Barnard.
He is survived by: his cousin Chet; his daughters, Brandi Blatt (Brett) and Amy Barnard (Talia); his grandsons, Austin and Joshua Blatt (Ellie); his siblings, Deb Adams (Don), Ardel Sumner (Rusty) and Todd Barnard (Skeet); and his sisters-in-law, Marlene Graham and Teresa Bargo (James). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home Delta Chapel (6301 W St Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48917). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (4444 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48906).
