He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorr Hudson and Jean Hudson; his granddaughter Alyssa Jean Herrin; his wife Doris; his children, Sonya (Tim), Ryan (Arlone) and Doris; his stepchildren, Dennis, Charlotte (Mark) and Lori (Dale); his grandchildren, Christine (Matthew), Donovan (Alyssa), Levi (Johanna), Amanda, Kaeley and Avery; his brothers, Fred, Ron (Karen) and Pete (Rhonda); Mark, Crystal, Craig (Kari), Corey, Lucas (Corrin) and Natalie. He was also cherished by 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Post 148 in Mason.
