The memory of Tootie Lazarz of Lansing, Michigan, born in Wyandotte, Michigan, who passed away on April 27, 2026 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Champagne and Ruth Champagne (Greenawalt); her sister-in-law Lynn Day (Joe); her grandson Blair Beck (Bear Bear); and her brothers-in-law, Richard Lazarz and Buddy Randolph.
She is survived by: her spouse Harley Lazarz; her children, Sherri Beck (Mike) and Scott Lazarz (Debbie); her grandchildren, Deryk Lazarz (Mary), Taylor Lazarz (Nick Marqius), Ashley Beck (Jaime Vaquera), Trisha Lazarz (Collin Schut), Jessica Rau (Chris) and Janna Green (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Ryker, Reese, Owen, Ellie, Griffin of Jasper, Nora, Wrenley and Levi; and her sister-in-law Lee Randolph. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Drummond Island Lutheran Church (29515 E Channel Rd, Drummond, MI 49726). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
