She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leslie Pumfrey and Dorothy Pumfrey of Lansing; her husband Ronald A. Berg; her children, Debbie Currin (Kim) of Leslie, Doug Berg (late Tammy) of Laingsburg and Denise Thelen (Pat) of Mason; her grandchildren, Melissa Parker (Jeff), Cherissa Parks (Jason), Douglas Berg (Erica), Kelly Hernandez (Felix), Nick Currin (Andrea) and Lindsay Lukavsky (Rob); her stepgrandchildren, Brenton Thelen (Brenda) and Shannon Houghton (Chad); her pet Tubby; her sister-in-law Ethel Pumfrey; and her brother Ellis Pumfrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
