He was predeceased by : his parents, William Pearce and Mary Pearce (Granger); his sister Priscilla Pearce; and his cousins, Jim Pearce, Dick Pearce, Russ Stanton, Carol Granger and Peggy Granger.

He is survived by : his friend David Purvis.
