The passing of Alice E. Shagena of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her brother Michael Shagena. She is survived by: her children, Colleen Miller (Ron), Mathew Hartwick (Melanie) and Michael Hartwick (Kristen); her grandchildren, Meghann, Nathanael, Amber, Milo, Lillian, Marissa, Mikaela, Christian, Mathew Jr., Chloe, Piper, Maliyah, McKinley, Meadow and McCormack; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Gideon, Levi, Eli, Quinn, Althea, Naomi, Kellen and Zia.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Methodist Church (1310 N Main St, Lapeer, MI 48446).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Suncrest Display Gardens or the Parkinson's Foundation.
