He was predeceased by : his parents, Vaughn Maxfield and Gloria May Maxfield (Brown); his grandfather Brown; his brothers-in-law, Brian Bedwell and Mark Jones; and his nephew Benjamin.

He is survived by : his wife Pam Maxfield; his pet Gracie; his stepdaughters, Ashley Boynton (Josh) of Florida and Mindy Hudson (Nick) of Georgia; his siblings, Randy Maxfield (Maurene), Eric Maxfield, Cheryl Willis (Robert) and Michelle Bedwell; and his half-sisters, Annette Maxfield and Lisa Maxfield Esselman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
