David John Kengerski of Lapeer, Michigan passed away on October 3, 2026. David, born on July 22, 1932, shared life alongside family, friends, and others. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Kengerski and Hedwig Kengerski; his wife Wilma; his grandson Kurtis; his siblings, Helen, Frances, Donald, Henry and Dennis; and his stepdaughter Pam.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Wrobel (Randy), Jeffrey Kengerski, Terry Kengerski (Marlene) and Daniel Kengerski; the mother of his children Bonnie Sherwood; his grandchildren, Jessica Wrobel, Adam Wrobel, Samantha Everett (Evan), Brett Trotter (Miranda), Tiffany Williams (Robert), Kayla Wave, Derek Kengerski and Raven Kengerski; his stepchildren, Vicki Devine and Mark Rich (Kim); and his friends, Patrick, Maria, Drew, Isabelle, Hannah, Louis and Theresa. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; and fourteen step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pixley Funeral Home (322 W University Dr, Rochester, MI 48307). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Christian Memorial Gardens West (521 E Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to The Nature Conservancy, A Living Tribute, Trees for a Change, or Trout Unlimited.
