He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter and Virginia Walter. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie; his stepchildren, Gregory DeRidder of Oxford and Katie DeRidder; his grandchildren, Isabella, Miles and McKensie; his uncle Steve Bovbjerg (Sue) of Colorado; and his aunts, Chris Garrett (Ron) of Sebewaing and Debbie Loucks (Bill) of Attica.
