She was predeceased by: her husband Richard L. Yost; her son Richard Yost, Jr.; her parents, Onnie Minyard and Nina Minyard; and her siblings, Onnie, Jr., Glen, Larry and Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Copeland (Darrell) of Columbiaville, David Yost of Lapeer and Lisa Hetherington of Clio; her grandchildren, Sarah, Monica, Andriea, Nathan, Jacob, Sydney and Katie; and her siblings, Beverly Perry of California, Sue Joiner of California, Vicky Casey of California and Guy Minyard of Alabama. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home (1021 S Lapeer Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
