He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Gregory and Barbara Dehring (DeShryer); and his sister Maggie. He is survived by : his wife Barbara (Swain); his siblings, Mary Grace Blouin (Gerry), Ann Jager (Mark), Peter Dehring (Tammy), Philip Dehring (Maggie), Mary Clare Dunkel, Matthew Dehring, Joe Dehring (Tina) and Greg Dehring (Sharon); and his brothers-in-law, Dan (Patrica) and David Swain (Lori).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Rd, Romeo, MI 48065). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
