With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Oscar Pomaville of Lapeer, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Oscar Pomaville Sr. and Beatrice Marcella Pomaville (Lauhoff); his daughter Susan Marie Pomaville; his former wife Loretta Ann Pomaville (Chauvin); and his siblings, Beatrice Haffey and Francis Pomaville.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Ann Pomaville; his children, Ann Patrice Pomaville (Robert Castle), Thomas Joseph Pomaville (Tami), Julie Terése Pomaville (Alan Ozias) and Carrie Michele Odrobina (Kurt); his grandchildren, Sarah, Kenneth, Jaime, Noelle, Alicia, Kyle, Joseph, Erika, Marc, Alec and Renée; and his children, David, Rachel, Steven, Gerald, Lawrence, Nathan and Joel. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Word Among Us Partners "Prison Ministry" or St. Vincent DePaul.
