The memory of Joyce Kay Denton (Lapeer, Michigan), born in Berkley, Michigan, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her son Daniel Denton; her parents, Dora Chatfield and Daniel Harold Chatfield; and her brother John Chatfield. She is survived by: her husband Robert Denton; her daughters, Rebecca Denton (Marvin "Butch" Williams) and Patricia Denton; her grandchildren, Cole Denton, Devon Wuerth-Denton (Jennifer), Nathaniel Denton and Jacob Denton; and her sister Carol Poet (Tom).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors (432 N Calhoun St, Lapeer, MI 48446). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Joyce's memory to Gift of Life, Karmanos Breast Cancer Center, or a local library of your choice.
