It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry James Potter of Lapeer, Michigan, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Potter and Mildred Potter (Mabee); his sisters, Arlene Daly (Bill), Dorothy Avram (Steve) and Jean Schlaud (John); his son-in-law Harold Knowlton; his niece Amy Brooks; his nephew Larry Schlaud; his brother-in-law Ernie Wittke; his aunt Francis Potter; and his uncle Charles Potter.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Wittke; his children, Beth Knowlton, Laura Owen (Scott), Joan Green (Randy) and Jim Potter (Rachele); his grandchildren, Kelsey (Jimmy), Carly (Jake), Austin (Maeve), Ellery (Greg), Colin (Sydnee), Roslyn (Cody), Garrett and Evan; his children, German and Vanessa; his stepgrandchildren, Aaron and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Owen, Walker, Rhett, James, Henry, Lena, Bohanan, Robee, Daniel, Fallynn, Logann, Maddix and Elliana; and his sister-in-law Betty Cramer (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to McLaren Hospice and/or St. Paul Lutheran Church- Lapeer.
