He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Helen Smith (Wheeler); and his sister Judy Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Marty; his children, Robin Smith of Lapeer and Tye Smith (Piper) of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Stevie and Nyle; and his siblings, Lyn Smith of Mason, Jay Smith (Pat) of Lapeer and Carol Boom of Lapeer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
