Lon Carlyle Kenny Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lon Carlyle Kenny of Lapeer, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Max and Evelyn Kraft; and his brother-in-law Paul Kraft. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Kraft; his children, Meegan Shephard (Brian) of Ortonville, Chad Kenny (Marie) of Metamora and Sarah Strawn (Allen); his grandchildren, Zachary and McKenzie Lange; his children, Ariya, Mataya, Joshua, Ziana Kenny, Eden, Lars and Elia Strawn; his sisters, Kristine Weigert (Larry) and Shannon Ellis (Rod); and his siblings-in-law, Janet Kraft, Karen Kraft (John Karavias), John Kraft (Sara Wood-Kraft), Helene Kraft (Don Spinks) and Matthew Kraft (Debra). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (90 Millville Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446).
