She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Skeberdis and Alice Skeberdis (Partridge); her husband Merlin "Bob" Gettel; her son Jimmy "Jim" Gettel; and her siblings, Alice Kim and Peter Skeberdis.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alexandra Geniac (Dennis) of East Tawas, Esther Pawlowicz (Peter) of Johnson City and David Skeberdis of Aurora, Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
