With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Abbey (Lapeer, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sweeney and Loretta Sweeney (Milbocker); her former husbands, Richard Reddington and Lewis Abbey; her brother Clare Sweeney; her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Boots, Jane and Kay Sweeney; and her nephews, Joseph, Brian and Matthew Sweeney.
She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Reddington (Shelby), David Reddington, Joel and Benjamin Abbey; her grandchildren, Charis, Ian, Emily, Michael, Samantha Reddington, Aaron, Nathaniel Abbey, Isabelle, Nolan and Jude Kildee; her great grandchildren, Ava, Ezra, Ja'Marion, Michael, Kaydence and Zariah; her brother Richard Sweeney (Brenda); and her nephews, Tim and Mike Sweeney.
