He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Nast and Dorothy Nast (Ludwig); and his wife Melanie Deering. He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Nast of Lapeer; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nast of Melvin and Justin Huett of Lapeer; and his siblings, Dennis Nast, Gail Bulla (Larry), Roger Nast (late Lois), Dean Nast (Bonnie), Jerry Nast (Sue) and Wendy Einhardt (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
