He always seemed to be working as a kid, at Orchard Lanes Bowling Alley and then at Ernies/Purple Pickle, but had time to play football, wrestle and put the shot in track. He was the heavyweight on the wrestling team and many times the outcome of the meet would rest on Pat's shoulder and he always came through for Avondale. He was a larger than life character and will be missed.”
