It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Wayne McGuire of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Wesley McGuire and Erla McGuire; his siblings, Butch, Mark David and Pam; and his nieces, Kelly and Nicole.

He was a key contributor to the success of our undefeated Senior year. I can remember it as if it was yesterday. You will be missed Pat may you RIP.”

“Patrick was a great and fun and funny person. I've known Pat from Kindergarten at Auburn Heights Elementary. He always seemed to be working as a kid, at Orchard Lanes Bowling Alley and then at Ernies/Purple Pickle, but had time to play football, wrestle and put the shot in track. He was the heavyweight on the wrestling team and many times the outcome of the meet would rest on Pat's shoulder and he always came through for Avondale. He was a larger than life character and will be missed.”
