She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Phelan and Helen Phelan (Baumert); her husband Doug Ward; her son-in-law Barry Aubert; and her brother Stafford Cowles.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelly Markley of Lapeer, Lisa Aubert of Lapeer and Christy Ward of Normal, Illinois; her grandchildren, Austin Aubert (Rachel), Amanda Ament (Joe), Jessica Aubert, Madison Markley and Hailee Christensen; her great grandchildren, Payton, Addison and Alexis; and her siblings-in-law, Pat, Fran Clark, Waneta Sanderson, Fred, Janet Ward and Richard Ward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
